What are your hats made from?

All of our hats are made from 100% Australian wool felt.

They're finished with a breathable cotton/linen blend sweatband for comfort + longevity.

Can I return my hat?

We accept returns on unworn, non-custom hats within 14 days.

Custom-designed hats are final sale due to their personalized nature.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship ONLY Australia-wide via Australia Post.

Can I pick up my hat locally?

Yes - local pickup is available from Somerville, VIC.

ONLY for Uniquely Burnt Hats orders.

Just request "Local Pickup" when you check out via the design process, and we will arrange a time that is convenient for both parties.

Do you offer custom hat designs?

Yes - custom burn work is what The HLC Homestead does best.

Each custom hat includes hand-drawn pyrography artwork, burnt directly into the felt + created uniquely for you.

What is pyrography?

Pyrography involves using a heated tool, often with different tips for varying effects, to burn designs onto a surface.

At The HLC Homestead, this is all hand-drawn, so no two designs are the same

How do I find my hat size?

You can measure your head using a soft tape measure or a piece of string.

Wrap the tape around your head, positioning it about 1/8 inch above your ears and across your forehead, where the hat will sit.

Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

After your order is processed, which can take up to 1-2 days.

It can take anywhere from 7-14 days for your item to be delivered.
